What a fantastic year for Ember Big Band. Our performance level keeps rising with the addition of new players, seasoned musicians evolving under the guidance of Huw (a trumpet and Big Band enthusiast), a gala performance with Allan (Musical Director of the Strictly Come Dancing tour band), Daehyun (Latin groove night), and now Duncan leading us to elevate the saxophone experience.
Thank you to all our fans, followers, regulars at the Albion, and everyone who supported us during the 18 public performances in 2024. Each one was a joy.
We'll resume rehearsals on January 6th, shaking off the indulgences of the past weeks and eagerly anticipating 2025.
Although currently full, we will have an opening in the trumpet section after Easter as one of our members takes on a teaching role in Somerset. So if your New Year's resolution is to pick up and play your trumpet again, why not reach out?
